I recently saw a post on TikTok about this cafe. Every Thursday my son takes me to lunch and yesterday August 21, 2025 we came here. I must say it was Devine. It was like my very own Grannie served on her table. Everything is homemade. It’s all served fresh. I had the catfish and it was juicy yet the breading was crispy, light and oh so good. Now let’s discuss that blackberry cobbler…. One bite and I was in heaven. Just like my Grannies! The Service was superb! Our Server was Hunter and he made excellent suggestions and he has a wonderful smile! Thank you Donna’s cafe and staff! We will be back!!!

My husband and I stopped today. This was our first time eating here. To say we were pleased would be an understatement. Absolutely everything we sampled from the buffet was amazing. Everything was fresh and hot just as it should be. And whomever the cook is deserves a pat on the back. Best food ever. We couldn't just pick one thing as our favorite. It was all amazing. The staff was super friendly. The atmosphere was so pleasant. We live in Bridgeport, Alabama and will definitely make this a place we visit often. 🥰🥰🥰 Five Stars isn't enough! Outstanding place to eat and relax. 🥰 We came back today. 8 weeks later. And just as before. We can't say enough about this place. It is absolutely a pleasant place to eat and the food is the best we have ever eaten. The staff is so friendly also. If we could give it 10 stars we would. Shout out to the owners, and all the staff there. Y'all rock

Worth a drive! I drove my family here after church today for the buffet, and we are over the moon. Delicious ham, chicken, catfish, mac n cheese, perfect greens, and much more. We will certainly visit again, even with an hour drive. In fact the next time we have out of town guests, we have the best taste of the South to recommend. Keep on doing fantastic food!

Outstanding food! The fried catfish & tomatoes is very good! Collards are yummy! Decent salad bar! Tracey was our server- very friendly and I felt like I’ve known her for years! Great place to get lunch — we will def be back!!
