Had breakfast at Donna’s Old Town Cafe and it honestly felt like walking into someone’s home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff treats you like they’ve known you forever. The food is exactly what you want from a local spot, real, home-cooked, and full of flavor. The buffet had a great variety, and everything tasted fresh and made with care. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. Service was quick and friendly, and overall it was just a great experience. Definitely one of those places you keep coming back to.

My family was traveling through and decided to explore the downtown Madisonville area. While driving down the main strip, we saw Donna's Cafe and decided to stop in. Upon walking in, the Cafe is very welcoming, cozy and the hostess was super kind. We were seated immediately and saw that they had a country style buffet with all sorts of home cooking. Something for everyone. The buffet was clean, the food smelled great and tasted just as good. Our waitress was very sweet and made sure our table was kept clean from plates and kept our drinks full. This is a wonderful place to try! We will definitely be back.

While on our way for a weekend trip in Chattanooga, a Google search led us to Donna's. Even though there were a lot of great sounding options on the menu, I opted for the full lunch buffet and my husband had the soup and salad buffet. Oh my, what an amazing buffet. I tried the mac and cheese, green beans, rolls, fried green tomatoes, fish, and the best friend chicken ever. Hunter was our server and he was exceptional. Our bill before tip came to $32 and some change. If I lived in Madisonville, I would never cook because I would be eating at Donna's every day!

This home cookn’ buffet was so amazing for lunch! The Best tasting fried fish we have had in TN & the absolute BEST Fried Green Tomatoes ever!! Everyone working here is so so good! The Best place to end our vacation in TN!

I finally made the journey to Donnas old town Cafe and it was well worth the long drive. I had the breakfast buffet and everything I tried was delicious including the chocolate gravy! The service was great as well. We are now looking forward to dinner here, but be aware the hours are a little odd, so be sure to confirm that they are open before you go.
