Ma'am, some folks from New Jersey passed through Madisonville years before I was a Google reviewer. We all saw the total eclipse in the summer of 2017, and while staff in the region's restaurants have probably changed, folks in our state remember the home cooking in town. My husband and I drove from Maryville to Madisonville (30 miles) to try Donna's because several friends had recommended it. It did not disappoint. I don't know when I've had fried chicken that good, and I enjoyed all the vegetables. My husband loved the banana pudding. It was a fun lunch adventure!
